FIBERDUK is a technical base wallpaper, also referred to as a leveling wallpaper. The pre-coloured non-woven material is designed for repainting or wallpapering. The product reinforces cracks and seams in walls and ceilings, strengthens the surface, and provides a uniform overall appearance even without full plastering. Fiberduk is completely stable in its dimensions and is intended for indoor use. Installation Instructions Check for visible defects in the product. Defects occurring in the first or last meters of the roll should be compensated for with additional roll length. The surfaces to be wallpapered must be dry and clean. Remove any loose layers. Larger irregularities need to be plastered. Highly absorbent surfaces may require priming. Apply an even layer of adhesive to the surface of the wall or ceiling (about 1 dl/m²). Use a roller or brush for this. Feel free to apply adhesive for two panels at a time. For installation, you can place the leveling wallpaper roll on the floor, pulling and cutting panels from there onto the wall, or cut the panels to size beforehand. It is advisable to test the result on a smaller area first. Install Fiberduk panels edge to edge. They can also be installed with an overlap, and then to achieve a perfect joint, cut through both layers at once and remove the excess. For internal corners, install with a 5 mm overlap on one wall. Continue with a new panel from the corner. For external corners, wrap the panel over the external corner by 1 cm and continue with the next panel with a 5 mm overlap. When wallpapering, smooth the panel with a wallpapering tool. Avoid excessive rubbing to prevent the lower texture from showing through. Allow the wallpaper to dry for about a day. After that, you can start wallpapering/painting. Fiberduk is pre-coloured and can be painted with wall or ceiling paint without priming.

You can also order an A4 wallpaper sample – samples are subject to a charge, but delivery to a parcel locker in Estonia is free of charge. Please keep the labels from the wallpaper rolls until the installation is complete. The label contains the product code and batch number, which are required if additional material needs to be ordered. Before installation, please check the wallpaper carefully for any defects. If you notice a defect, stop the installation immediately and contact us. Defective material will be replaced as soon as possible.
