HERDINS KÖKSBÄNKSOLJA is a special oil for finishing heavily used wooden work surfaces. Gives the kitchen surface a beautiful and durable matte surface. The product consists of carefully selected pure oils with very good water and dirt repellent properties.

Cost: 500 ml is enough to treat a working surface of about 8-10 m2.

Drying time: About 24 hours. Contains vegetable oils and low aromatic white spirit.

Tools: sponge or brush.

Pretreatment: Make sure the surface to be oiled is dry and free of grease and dirt. Sand the wood, even pre-oiled surfaces, with 120 grit sandpaper to open the surface and remove the old oil, this is the only way to achieve an even finish.

Processing: Apply the oil to the surface in an even thin layer with a sponge or brush. To prevent the formation of shiny spots, wipe the excess oil from the surface with a clean rag after 20-30 minutes. Repeat the process until the wood surface is completely saturated.

Polishing: After the oil has set for 24 hours, for a more durable and silky result, the surface can be polished with a white polishing felt (for example, the white of a household scouring sponge is suitable felt). During drying, avoid getting moisture on the oiled surface.

Maintain the work surface with Herdins kitchen surface oil 2-3 times a year.

Cleaning tools: white spirit.

IMPORTANT! Work in a well-ventilated area. Avoid inhalation of fumes. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Solvent vapors are released during processing and drying. Protect the substance from heat and direct sunlight. Contains drying oils. Risk of spontaneous combustion! Oily rags must be put in water or burned.

Waste treatment: Residues of the substance must be taken to a local environmental station. Empty cleaned packages are sorted as sheet metal on site.

Clean the surfaces treated with kitchen countertop oil with clean, lukewarm water. Add minimal soap to the washing water. If the surface wears out, feels dry and rough, repeat the treatment.
