HERDINS TRÄOLJA is a colourless wood oil for treating deep-impregnated or new wood outdoors. Wood oil protects the wood from drying out, helps prevent cracks and makes the wood surface water-repellent. Wood oil emphasizes and preserves the natural colour and appearance of wood.

Herdins wood oil is suitable for finishing both deeply impregnated and untreated wood outdoors. The optimal dry matter content of wood oil (32%) ensures the best penetration of the wood surface.

Cost: On fresh wood surface, 1 liter per 10m² and for old, dried wood, per 6m².

Ingredients: Deep-acting natural plant oils. Low aromatic white spirit.

Drying time: Dust dry after 4 hours, touch dry after 8 hours.

Work at 15-25 degrees, but do not oil in direct sunlight. Protect from rain for 48 hours after finishing.

Procedure: Mix the wood oil thoroughly before starting. Make sure the surface to be finished is clean and dry. Lightly sand the surface if the wood has been unprotected for a long time. Apply a generous amount of oil to the surface of the wood as you work it in with a brush or sponge. If the wood is very dry, oil must be added repeatedly. For maximum protection, oil should be added until the wood is completely saturated. Allow the oil to soak in for about 30 minutes and then wipe off the excess oil.

NB! Avoid inhalation of vapors and contact with skin or eyes.

Solvent vapors are released during processing and drying. Avoid sparking due to static electricity. Do not smoke, keep away from open flames and sparks.

Store below 25°C. Handle as a flammable liquid.
